Skinny Pumpkin Smoothie- yummy way to eat your veggies!

Fall is here- time to mix up a Skinny Pumpkin Smoothie!

Jamba Juice's seasonal pumpkin smash smoothie tastes amazing!  But, if you don't live near a Jamba Juice, or don't feel like driving, here is pumpkin smoothie recipe you can make at home.  Just add the ingredients in the blender, mix, and enjoy!


Tip: I like to put the ice and milk in first, because if you add the yogurt or pumpkin first, it can be too goopy for the blender blades to get through easily.

1 cup ice 

1/2 cup skim milk (or soy milk if you prefer)

1 cup frozen fat-free or low-fat frozen yogurt (I just use refrigerated yogurt and stick it in the freezer 20 or 30 minutes before I make the smoothie).

1/3 cup canned pumpkin

1 tablespoon sugar (or 1/2 tablespoon stevia if you want to reduce calories)

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon pumpkin spice


Recipe makes about 3 cups.
