Ghost Pops- The Hassle Free Version of a Halloween Classic

This is a cute, fun treat to pass out to treak-or-treaters or at a Halloween party.

For this craft, we used:

  • Tootsie Pops
  • Coffee Filters
  • Ribbon (1/8 inch width)
  • Googly eyes (we used the self-adhesive kind.)  You could also draw on the ghost faces with a marker
  • Shoe box (optional)

For these ghosts, two coffee filters were used to make sure they were fuller and less see-through.  The ribbon tied around the bottom of the sucker was cut to about 14 inches in length.

You could also use tissue instead of coffee filters, and yarn instead of ribbon.  However, I think the coffee filter and ribbon looks nicer, and is still very inexpensive!  Plus, the ribbon is easy for little hands to untie.

After that, just add googly eyes, or draw on eyes, and a mouth, if you want.

For the presentation, you can use a Philips head screw driver to poke holes into the lid of a shoe box, and then insert the sucker sticks.
